Erik delivers coordinated financial advice tailored to enhance quality of life, manage transitions, and reach goals successfully. Specializing in investments, insurance, education, retirement plans, tax and estate planning, Erik strives to help clients define priorities and maximize their financial resources so they can support the people, life experiences and causes they care about most. He believes proper financial planning, investing and risk management can make money a source of joy, rather than stress and fear.

Erik is a Nashville native, graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy and Baylor University. Professional accolades include: Investment News Top 40 under 40 in the United States financial planning industry, and Nashville Business Journal Top 40 under 40 awards.

Outside of the office, Erik enjoys spending time with his wife, children and dog, and pursues hobbies of golfing, barbecuing and writing. He is committed to giving back to the community and serves as president of the board of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee, a Rotary Club of Nashville member and a deacon at Woodmont Christian Church.


Through financial life planning, Erik strives to help clients define priorities and maximize their financial resources so they can support the people, life experiences and causes they care about most. He believes financial planning and investing done well can make money a source of joy, creativity, and empowerment.

Erik is a partner and financial planner at TrustCore in Brentwood, TN where he has been practicing financial planning since 2004. He is a Certified Financial Planner Professional, and Registered Life Planner through the Kinder Institute. He recently completed Money Quotient’s Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning, and is currently participating in the Financial Transitionist Institute’s Core Training.  Another highlight for Erik is taking part in the Nazrudin Project community and annual gathering of his friends and heroes, like Dick Wagner.  Erik is a Nashville native, graduate of Montgomery Bell Academy and Baylor University. Professional accolades include: InvestmentNews inaugural Top 40 under 40 (2014), and Nashville Business Journal Top 40 under 40 (2015).

Outside of the office, Erik enjoys spending time with his family and pursues creative hobbies of playing guitar, barbecuing and writing. He is committed to giving back to the community and frequently speaks to area schools and sports teams on a variety of inspiring topics. Erik has served as board chair of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee, board member of the Financial Planning Association of Middle TN, and as a deacon at Woodmont Christian Church. He is also an active member of The Rotary Club of Nashville.
